about Smart-Care
Smart-Care like many businesses has had to re-think how we conduct our business. At this time it is not safe for us to travel to our homes to set up our mobile shop. We have come up with a few alternatives we hope will make shopping safe and easy for our customers.
Customers can of course place orders here on the website. They can also phone, text or email their requirements and we can send photos, bring items to them or they can book a personal time to come to the warehouse where they will be the only shopper during their appointment time.
All items that have been tried on or have left the warehouse are quarantined for 2 days and then steamed.
We are also looking at options for virtual shopping days for our homes. More information about these will be posted here soon.
BILL & KAREN COLBERT
Bill and Karen Colbert are both Ottawa Valley natives. They have lived in Burnstown for the past 21 years and both have worked their entire careers in Arnprior.
Karen is a certified dementia practitioner and has worked 11 years at Island View Retirement Suites in Arnprior. There she was a Life Enrichment Coordinator working with the residents to create an active and fulfilling experience for each and every one of them. Reluctantly she quit her job there to move on to the next chapter in her life, to be an entrepreneur and business owner of Smart-Care.
Bill has spent his career moving up the ladder at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and now with Pillar 5 Pharma, an independent contract pharmaceutical manufacturer. Although he is an integral part of the new Smart-Care Clothing he will continue in his current position as a technical manager at Pillar 5.

We will take back all items that have not been laundered or labeled. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
